About Kourtney K Guthrie

I am a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care. I joined our team in 2021. I received my Doctorate of Medicine from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2015, and completed my residency Pediatrics at the University of Florida Shands Children’s Hospital. I became a double gator, continuing at the University of Florida for a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care, after which I joined as faculty. During my fellowship, my research focused on ECMO blood product utilization. My current clinical interests focus on pediatric trauma with a focus on pediatric TBI with ongoing research in TBI biomarkers and inflammasomes.
