Application Process

The University of Florida Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship Program normally accepts two new fellows each year, with a total of up to six fellows at a time in our program. Application requirements for our program include all of the following:

  1. Successful completion of ACGME-approved pediatric residency,
  2. U.S. citizenship or permanent U.S. resident status (i.e., those holding green cards), or 3) foreign medical graduates who currently hold a J1 visa. Please note our program does not support H1B visas.

All Florida training programs, including our pediatric critical care fellowship program, are committed to fostering gender, ethnic and racial diversity. The importance of diversity in the global community of the 21st Century underscore our institution’s commitment to improving access to opportunity for all members of society, particularly women and underrepresented minorities.

Application deadline is September 30th each year for positions that begin in July of the following year. To apply you must sign up and participate in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and participate in the National Resident Matching Program.

We request three letters of reference, your ECFMG certification and USMLE scores, all transmitted through ERAS. We do accept International Medical School Graduates and sponsor J-1 visas only. Paper applications will not be accepted.
